Position Summary:


The Annual Fund & Operations Manager is primarily responsible for designing, planning, and executing ISDenver’s annual fund program while managing and enhancing process-driven routines for all backend advancement operations, data systems, and gift processing. This role ensures that all constituent, donor, and gift records are accurate and that platform managements, segmented appeals, and gift processing run efficiently. This team member works independently and in collaboration with the AER team, administrative peers, and volunteers to help drive sustainable philanthropic culture and revenue growth that continuously builds trust with all community members and moves our school forward.

  • Annual Fund Management: Plan, design, and execute the school’s annual fundraising program, including managing segments, appeals, timelines, and communications.

  • Gift Processing, Acknowledgment, and Stewardship: Execute structured workflows to record, process, and acknowledge all contributions, donations, pledges, payments, and stewardship communications to ensure robust, donor-centric records in the CRM.

  • Data Integrity & CRM Management: Maintain overall accuracy of constituent, volunteer, and donor records through regular entry, updates, and targeted data cleanup projects.

  • Financial Reconciliation & Compliance: Reconcile fundraising records with business office colleagues and provide documentation/backup to support annual audits.

  • Alumni Relations: Design and implement systematic data workflows within the CRM to track alumni transitions, maintain updated contact information, and capture long-term engagement milestones. 

  • Digital Platforms: Design and produce online donation forms and manage external fundraising platforms, centering user experience.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Design and produce fundraising reports, queries, and lists for the AER team, administration, and board committees, tracking metrics over time.

  • Gala & Event Operations: Design the annual fundraising gala budget, ticketing and giving platforms, managing ticket/sponsorship sales, auction packages, and donations. Review and source competitor event platforms every ~3 years.

  • Volunteer Coordination: Partner with parent volunteers to effectively engage our community in ways that extend the bandwidth of the advancement team, particularly as part of the annual spring gala fundraiser.

  • Communications Support: Draft content for weekly E-News, annual appeals, the community giving webpage, and gala collateral, coordinating with Advancement, Communications, and Engagement peers on design and delivery.

  • Benchmarking: Compile and submit annual benchmarking surveys to local and national independent school organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of annual fund and data entry and management experience.

  • College degree or equivalent experience.

  • Fluent in English with preference for multilingual capabilities. 

    • Level B2 required, C1+ preferred (based on the CEFoRfL) or equivalent certification such as TOEFL or IELTS.

  • High level of proficiency working with Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets.

  • Utmost discretion with regard to confidential, personal information. 

  • Deadline- and detail-oriented in a fast-paced, nimble environment.

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a high-functioning team, including providing direction to others when needed.

  • Strong writing, speaking, customer service, and time management skills.

Visual & Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to work in environments with standard overhead lighting, including fluorescent or LED fixtures.

  • Ability to function effectively in environments with moderate to high noise levels (e.g., classrooms, musical performances, lunchroom(s), crowded hallways).

Cognitive & Executive Demands:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot between tasks as needed.

  • Ability to process and follow complex, multi-step instructions provided in both verbal and written formats.

Location and Schedule:  Expected work hours are ~8:00 am-4:00pm, M-F; you may have to work outside of these hours periodically. This job has some remote work flexibility. All employees must be based in the greater Denver metro area of CO.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000
