2026-2027 Preschool Flex Teacher

August 20, 2026 - June 4, 2027

Paddington Station Preschool

2026-2027 Preschool Flex Teacher

Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Start Date: August 20, 2026 (school year runs from August 31, 2026 through May 28, 2027

with teacher work week through June 4, 2027)

Do you love tiny voices, big questions and the magic of everyday discovery?

As a Flex Teacher, you will support several classrooms throughout the day. Your day might include building block towers, facilitating friendship-making, singing songs (and dance parties!) and helping preschoolers and toddlers make sense of big feelings. You’ll kneel down for important conversations, celebrate small victories and turn play into powerful learning moments. You will also play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and our extended day program.

We’re looking for someone who finds joy in:

The wonder and creativity of facilitating a play based and SEL preschool experience

Watching curiosity turn into confidence

Supporting children from several different classrooms as they learn to share, express and connect

Getting a little messy because we know that’s where fun meets understanding

Creating a feeling where every child is seen, safe and celebrated

Building meaningful relationships within a strong, connected community of children, families and Paddington faculty and staff

If you believe play is serious learning, relationships are everything, and wonder belongs in every day, Paddington might be the place for you!

Paddington is a mission-driven, non-profit independent school in Denver serving children ages 16 months through Pre-K. We are a welcoming, inclusive community that partners with families to celebrate childhood, embrace learning through play, and nurture confident, curious learners.

We are deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging and seek educators who are ready to engage in this meaningful work. We take pride in being a deeply connected community where families, children, and faculty come together in partnership, support one another and create a true sense of belonging for all.
