We are a Modern Orthodox K-12 school, where our students engage in a daily rigorous secular
and Judaics curriculum.

The Role:
We’re hiring a passionate, experienced science educator to teach high school students in a 0.5
FTE (part-time) role. The ideal candidate brings subject mastery, creative lesson planning, and a
desire to engage students in hands-on learning across subjects such as biology, chemistry,
physics, and earth science. We are proud of our inclusive and respectful professional culture.

Key Responsibilities:
? Teach a range of science classes for grades 9–12

? Design engaging, inquiry-based lessons and labs

? Create assessments and provide feedback to students and families

? Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects

? Manage a positive, respectful classroom environment

? Support student life through advisory, clubs, and school events

? Participate in professional development and faculty meetings

? Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and team members

Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in science, education, or a related field (required)
? 3+ years of teaching experience preferred
? Strong instructional and classroom management skills
? Comfort using educational technology (e.g., Google Classroom)
