About the Position:
The Logan School for Creative Learning seeks a full-time School Psychologist, School Counselor, or Licensed Mental Health Professional for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities include:
Clinical Support & Intervention

Deliver evidence-based brief individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral barriers to learning

Provide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) instruction within the classroom

Design and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) as needed
Data & Compliance

Interpret psycho-educational data and assessment results to inform instructional planning and support

Streamline the referral process for families seeking external clinical or diagnostic resources

Maintain timely, consistent, and confidential meeting documentation and progress notes
Consultation & Collaborative Leadership

Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community providers to ensure a wraparound approach to student mental health and social-emotional development

Lead multidisciplinary team meetings, synthesizing input from stakeholders to develop comprehensive support strategies

Provide consultation to teaching staff on neurodiversity, behavior support, and trauma-informed practices

Guide students and families through social and emotional preparation for off-site overnight Environmental Education programs
Crisis Management & Safety

Conduct risk and threat assessments and develop safety planning as needed

Serve on the Incident Response Team, contributing to risk mitigation and school safety protocols

Coordinate health and prevention programming
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Master’s Degree or higher in School Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field.

Licensure: Must hold a valid Colorado license (CDE or DORA) as a School Psychologist, School Counselor, LP, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

Proven track record of providing mental health support within a K-12 educational environment.

Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
Compensation:
Salary range is $65,000-$85,000 with full medical, dental, and vision benefits and participation in the school’s 403(b) program.
Contract dates:
August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027
School Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm, in addition to staff meetings from 4-5 pm on Wednesdays
